Since the early 80s, he has been a close colleague of Anold and Amy Mindell.

For the past 25 years, he has taught in more than 25 countries around the world, helping individuals and couples alike, facilitating creative change and leadership processes in teams and organizations, companies, societies and universities (from Findhorn in Scotland to Federal Technical High School ETH, Zurich, Switzerland).

As a lecturer on world work at the Institute of Process Work www.worldwork.org As a Master of Conflict and Organizational Change Facilitation in Portland, USA, (since 1991), Rainey also conducts training programs in Moscow and St. Petersburg (since the mid-90s), Zurich (Switzerland), Dublin (Ireland), New York City-New York (USA), Cologne (Germany). Together with his colleagues, he conducted a training course funded by the European Union on conflict resolution in Northern Ireland and Croatia.

Rainey lives in Zurich with his Russian wife and two children. Runs a private practice.
